THE STUDENT CHECK-LIST
It’s okay if you have no clue about TCM: You will have tons of fun learning that most ingredients that we use in our class are the “all-day” familiar items in your life. Merely now you’re going to learn what happens with the food in your system. Why do we have reactions, why cant we sleep, chronic conditions are controllable through food, how to boost your immune system, counter act pain, aid healing and foremost ERADICATING THE MYTH OF TCM.
Undeniably it is time we start looking at the impact our intake has on the body and this class will give each and one of you the tools and wisdom to individually and self-sufficiently adjust your eating habits without forfeiting the flavors and the familiar cravings. After this class you will be able to walk into a health food store without feeling intimidated by products; actually able to suggest simple and effective solutions to friends, family and yourself.
- There are a few items I need you to bring to this class:
- an open mind, but please voice all your questions
- a pen
- The TCM cookbook can be purchased in advance or in class www.TCMchef.com/store ($40)
- an apron that makes a statement of who you are (have fun!)
- your camera, iphone (for pictures only) or computer…
The cooking with TCM class is designed as an interactive experience and widely loved for the diversity and fun while re-discovering a very powerful knowledge of a 3000 year wisdom. We invite every personality from all spectrum of life: Baby Boomers as Youngsters, non-Chefs, Gourmands, People with specific health adjusting situations, Physicians, Nutritionists, the Curious and the Critical…
It is intentionally placed in a kitchen environment, free spirited but with a structure that binds us to learn in the morning, prepare the menu for service at noon and a final Q&A after class. The structure is like that of a Culinary school. The idea for this hands-on experience is to leave you with tons of wisdom, rich on tips and with new friends that share a common curiosity for TCM. This one week will impact your eating and how you perceive food! Relax, it's all great fun with focus on each and one student to get his share of "help" to cope with your personal quirks and foremost your specific needs.
I will have a professional assistant for this course to enrich your knowledge with his expertise in Gastronomy. We will end all classes with a wine tasting…
I am looking forward meeting you in person,
TCM chef Raphael
